I love discovering new voices in both romance and young adult spaces for Evernight Publishing and their young adult imprint, Evernight Teen. Nothing makes me happier than knowing a HEA is coming on the page - which means the characters are often taken through an emotional wringer in order to earn their happiness by the end of their story. But for me, knowing their happily ever after is coming makes taking the time to indulge in reading makes it all worth while.

Below are my wishlists and anti wishlists for each imprint plus submission guidelines. Please check out the websites for each and make sure we're a good fit before submitting.

#MSWL

ADULT

Length: 17k - 100k

The spicier the better for me!

I love all sorts of romance! Give me all the tropes, trope mash ups, reversed tropes and micro tropes. Send me monster smut, shifters, motorcycle clubs, dark romance, and mafia romance (the darker, the better!). I can't go past a good police procedural, romantic suspense, bodyguard, protector, cowboy, Christmas romance, rom com...the list goes on. If it has two or more heartbeats, I'll read it, as long as the MCs (however many there are) all earn their HEA/HFN ending (clearly defined) by the end of the book. All pairings, thurples and harem sizes accepted.

Anti Wishlist:

No cliffhangers please.

Evernight Adult Romance does not accept closed door clean romance. All steamy scenes must be on the page in full.

No fade to black.

ABSOLUTELY NO INFIDELITY OF ANY SORT PLEASE.

TEEN

Length: 30k-100k

Contemporary preferred but if you've written it and it's filled with real teen issues, I'll read it.

I want to read well crafted teens struggling with life, however that looks. I love literary young adult, characters who deal with family, friendship, school, after school jobs, identity crises and finding their place in a changing world.

I would LOVE to see a YA book focused around social media and the effect of cancel culture on teens and social relationships.

If you can comp Jas Hammonds' THIRSTY, Adiba Jaigirdar's THE HENNA WARS, or DUNGEONS AND DRAMA, I'd love to read your work.
